Doojoon flinched back from the shock. He smiled at her and then helped her get up. It was getting late and the day was ending. It saddened Doojoon. This meant that tomorrow was coming and that Sooyoung and Doojoon would have to part ways. He held her hand as she stood up and brushed herself off. And as soon as she was facing up again, he cupped her face and brought her into a kiss, more passionate this time. 

“Sorry,” Sooyoung nervously laughed as Doojoon helped her up. She saw him frown, and she knew he was thinking about the day to come. She wrapped her arms around his neck and held him close. She still didn’t want to leave. When she pulled back, she gave him a few more pecks before saying, “I… have to do something for you before I leave.”

Doojoon ran towards the fire whip, instead of avoiding it, with his hands palm to palm in front of him. As the fire whip approached him, he drew apart his hands, splitting the fire whip in two and heading right towards Sooyoung. He could see that Sooyoung was caught a bit off guard, expecting him to block or dodge the whip, not run right through it so instead of ending it there, he resorted to hand to hand combat, giving her time to re-focus. They fought, arms against arms as they threw punches and raised arms to shield themselves, Sooyoung got him a few times in the chest and once it the stomach, which hurt like hell. But he kept fighting. At some point, Sooyoung’s hair came loose and danced around her face in a way that made Doojoon almost weak. The hand to hand combat didn’t last long, as soon as he saw that Sooyoung was concentrated, which didn’t take very long, Doojoon pushed her back, almost playfully and super heated the air infront of him, causing a little explosion to push both of them back and to put some distance between him and Sooyoung. The pressure-bending cause a considerably loud POP!  that suprised Sooyoung a little. Doojoon took this time to create steam around them as a form of cover and simultaneosly sent a fire stream her way. As soon as the steam was all encompassing and Sooyoung had dodged the fire stream, Doojoon bent his legs a little to give his lift off a little elasticity as he generated a jet stream composed of hot presurised air to propel him towards Sooyoung, but she was faster than he as she saw the flare of the jet streams throught he steam and dodged his attack. Doojoon was just left with the trailing shadow of Sooyoung’s hair.

Doojoon knew another tactic was needed as he was growing a little to merciful and weak. The great thing about steam was that it hid your movements and almost gave you time to carry out the large sweeps that were needed to perform the larger and stronger fire-bending moves. As he stood his ground to start his movements, fire balls started raining down, Sooyoung was trying to pint point his location by using the fire as a light. But there was something peculiar about these fire balls, they seemed almost white, or pale in color. Doojoon didn’t think too much about it as he tried to hold the steam in it’s phase.  He took the time to go through the manuvers and as he moved into his last stance a fireball grazed his waist and then he set the fire comet towards where the fire ball had come from. Not only did the huge comet size fireball have power but it also created light within the steam so Doojoon could see where Sooyoung was headed to dodge the fireball. Quickly, Doojoon ignited the sparks of the jet stream below his heels and headed towards Sooyoong, jumping off of his jet stream right before he reached her to assure a quiet and soft landing behind her. She was oblivious to him and as soon as he landed, he struck the back side of his left hand against her head in a striking blow that brought her to the ground. Doojoon cleared some of the steam around them and Sooyoung sat up on her elbows, facing him. Right fist to left palm as he breathed heavily and flared his nostrils to release some excess fire, then a bow, signaling the end of their duel. Doojoon took a deep breath in with palms facing up against his chest to clear the excess steam.

Doojoon looked down at Sooyoung and gave her a smile that contrasted almost beautifully to the animalistic nature [flared nose, dark hair plastered to his face, sweat dripping down the contours of his neck, only to pool around in the indent in his collarbone so it could be thrashed out again as Doojoon moved to attack his prey, his canines bared as fire became a slave to his purely animal instinct] he showcased before. They were both sweating from all the steam as Doojoon kneeled down in front of Sooyoung. He put his index finger and thumb on her chin to make her look up at him, Sooyoung’s long hair sticking to her face and neck. “Don’t ever fight me with your hair down, I don’t think I would be able to win.” he chuckled as he moved some of the wet hair out of her face and captured her lips with his own.  

When Doojoon ran through the whip, Sooyoung jerked her head back slightly. Should’ve seen that one coming. When switched to physical combat, she smirked. He got her in the arm and it threatened to collapse and stop working; yet Sooyoung suffered through. Sooyoung tried to be higher than cheating, and she was, but she’d never let Doojoon know how she got him in the stomach, and she could see the pain. She smirked as her hair came loose and he pushed her back, heating the air and moving them both back a bit. She flinched at the noise and redirected his fire stream into her hands, shutting them so that the energy disappitated and traveled up her arms. She hadn’t noticed the steam creeping around them but she did notice the flare of a jet stream and back flipped out of the way, pushing her hair back when it was in her face. “Stupid hair,” she mumbled to her self.

When she glanced around and couldn’t see him, she shrugged and put her palms faced up at the sky. She reconcentrated the fire to come down as rain, not noticing how white it became. She stopped at the sight of a bright light, a comet, and rolled out of the way. She was confused until she got knocked in the back of the head, falling over. She faced him as he ended the match and blew a sarcastic flame out the corner of her mouth. She breathed heavily when he grabbed her chin.  “Don’t ever fight me with your hair down, I don’t think I would be able to win.” When he kissed her, there was a small problem: she had some left over energy, and accidenlty shocked (through uncontrolled lightning bending) Doojoon and herself at the contact.

“Well, I guess it’s not really an Agni Kai, that’s a bit too serious. More like just a fire duel.” Doojoon stood up and dusted off his clothing, “Rules? No rules, for this one.” Doojoon smirked and ran down the hill, “Come on!” He got to the flat ground and stood infront of Sooyoung. Right fist to left hand and then bow. Fighting stance.

Fireball aimed at her feet. She’ll jump up or back away, either way, if I do a fire spin… Fire spin on his back as he sent fire everywhere. 

“Fair enough,” Sooyoung smirked back at him and ran down after him. She mirrored his movements and took her stance. Doojoon sent a fireball at her feet, to which she jumped away from. She made a wall of flames to protect her self from the fire spin. Fight fire with fire, right? She threw her hand out in a whipping motion, sending a fire whip straight at Doojoon’s chest.
